Release Date: December 16th!!
I absolutely adore this series! I loved the previous two books and this one I loved even more. It was definitely my favourite.
It's a story told from Luke's point of view and starts off from when he receives Emmy's letter about his son. I normally don't enjoy books that tell the same story from different characters POV but I adored this one. It didn't have all the same scenes from previous books, there was so much more. Emmy and Luke are my favourite characters from this series and I have always wanted a story done from Luke's POV. He had so much to share.
I've had a love/hate relationship with both these characters. Obviously I was so angry with Emmy in the first story when she broke Luke's heart and I was angry with Luke when he carried on treating Em with such coldness. But that's what's great about these books, the characters do wrong yet you feel for them and understand their pain and fall back in love with them. And this book made me fall in love with both Luke and Emmy all over again.
I felt heartbreak, anger, sadness, love...literally every emotion you can feel. I laughed and cried during this book and a story that can do both is nothing short of amazing in my eyes.
I loved that we had more scenes with their children as well. Lucas is just the most adorable child and I was even happy for him that it all worked out.
The ending was perfect, couldn't have asked for a better ending. The epilogue was one of the sweetest and most romantic I've read because Luke is one of the most sweetest and romantic guys I've ever read. And I am generally really sad to see the end of their story.
Huge congratulations to the author to creating a perfect story to finish of with. As I said before I love all the books in this trilogy but this one was my favourite. I would definitely recommend it but say that you MUST read the other two books first to really understand just how much of a fight these two went through to be together.
