I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This was an enjoyable and quick read with an interesting and original story line that kept my attention all the way through.
I really enjoyed this story. It wasn't like anything I have ever read before and I love discovering such originals plots.
This was about a young girl called Sitnalta who runs away because her father is forcing her to marry a king much older than her. When she flees the castle she comes across a kind hearted troll who has lived alone all his life.
I loved the characters in this book. Sitnalta, Najort, Aud and king Gerald were all such kind and loving souls. I love that King Gerald did everything he could to help Sitnalta despite what her father wanted and I adored the story between him and Aud.
Najort was a wonderful troll! I cried for him. He was so protective to Sitnalta and so brave even though he knew he would never be able to defend himself.
This was such a pleasant read. It is a short book but sometimes that is what you need. Something quick and enjoyable to read and that is what this story definitely was. The ending was perfect, wouldn't have wanted anything different.
I would 100% recommend this story to others and hope to read more from this author.
