***** I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review*****
This book broke my heart. It has some very difficult topics and is not for the faint of heart. With that being said I found the book amazing. DP Denman does an amazing job at handling some very hard difficult situations that are sadly a fact of life that some people in our world do have to go through. The characters reached right through the book and stole my heart and took me on one heck of a journey.
Liam broke my heart and I wanted to reach though and steal him out of the situations that he has to go through. Justin is a perfect guy. We need people like him in the world. I went through so many emotions while reading this. I felt connected to the characters. I went through all their emotions with them while reading and then some. I had to hold back tears through the majority of this story. I can not wait to read more from this author and also to find out more about these characters.
I would recommend this book to anyone who can handle reading a book that is not full of sunshine and roses. This has very serious subject matter and contains things that really happen and I am glad that this author chose to bring this horrible situation to light.

DP Denman writes character-driven m/m romance about survivors. Her stories are real and intense but always resolve in the type of ending that makes readers want to start the book all over again. She is from the Pacific Northwest and bases all of her stories in Vancouver, British Columbia, a city that is dear to her heart.
In her spare time she is a dedicated gay rights activist fighting for those who have been marginalized and abused. To that end, 25% of the royalties from every book go to support LGBT charities.
