I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Enthroned by Amethysts is the third book in the A Dance with Destiny series. Jenevier is heavy with child. She’s also frustrated because Varick hasn’t shown his love in a physical sense. Her powers have also disappeared as her pregnancy progressed. When Jenevier and Varick finally discuss their relationship and become husband and wife again in every way, Jenevier disappears right before his eyes. Eventually, Jenevier is thought to be dead by everyone. Apollyn, aka Vindicus, takes his pain and heartache over losing his wife and child out on all the layers of reality. He’s hoping the Father will destroy him, put him out of his misery. Just when all Jenevier’s friends and family start to grieve her death, she emerges with a vengeance.
This series just keeps getting better. The author just has a way of sucking you into the world of her characters. I really enjoyed the new characters introduced in this book. I also loved seeing all my old favorite friends. The new worlds in this book were amazing. I was overjoyed that Alastyn and Jezreel were finally given their HEA’s. I despised Valencia and her feelings of entitlement. My heart broke when Vindicus thought he lost his family. I cried when Varick made the ultimate sacrifice for Jenevier and her son. Just when I was hopeful Jenevier would finally get her HEA, the unthinkable happened. Oh how my heart broke. I really need the next book now, I need to find out what happens next.
